Development Manager

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and working closely with the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) and marketing team, the Development Manager will manage FBUSA's fundraising efforts and oversee coordinating with affiliates on their fundraising requests. Historically, the majority of FBUSA's income has been derived from corporate sponsorships and foundation giving. Since expanding nationally in 2017, FBUSA's fundraising model has shifted to a larger percentage of earned income from the affiliate model. The more successful the affiliates are in fundraising, the more successful FBUSA is in expanding its mission nationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join at the beginning of our national expansion. The ideal candidate should be a detail-orientated, mission-driven development professional who is looking to deepen their expertise and grow with us.

 

Marketing Associate

Working with and reporting to the Marketing and Communications Director, the Marketing Associate will ensure marketing plans and communications efforts are executed and effectively managed. Responsibilities include launching and tracking Financial Beginnings USA's (FBUSA's) key marketing communications tactics, fulfilling affiliate requests, and providing marketing support to new affiliate teams. This position is great for someone who enjoys collaborating and is energized by incremental improvements, made both individually and through team effort, but who also is a self-starter and -motivator. The Marketing Associate will act in a supportive role across the organization. The FBUSA team is quickly expanding; new team members should be nimble and adaptive.

 

Oregon Open Positions

Outreach Coordinator

Without the Outreach Coordinator, Financial Beginnings Oregon could not bring our volunteer-taught financial education classes to Oregonians. The OC will provide dynamic outreach to schools, nonprofits and community groups to help us reach our goal of providing financial education to 25,000 Oregonians each year. The OCs main goal is to deepen our relationships with our community partners by delivering high levels of customer service, to ensure our programs can grow sustainably. The OC should hold equity and inclusion central to their work, striving to empower their colleagues and the participants we aim to serve.
